UPDATE:

Facebook has again changed the business page layout. We saw a preview of this last month when we delivered a training session to Moray Chamber of Commerce, and now Facebook has started to roll this out gradually to all business pages including our own!

The profile picture has moved to the top left and no longer obscures part of the cover photo. The size of the cover photo has changed from 851 x 315 to 828 x 315, while the profile picture size remains the same at 180 x 180.

All the action buttons that were positioned on the cover photo (ie Like, Message, More) are now visible below the cover photo, which means that cover photo is now completely visible which must be good news. No more worrying about buttons or the profile picture hiding bits of the brand image.

The other big change is that the navigation is now visible vertically on the left-hand side and is static, which means it doesn’t move when visitors to your page scroll down the page. If we spot any more subtle changes, we’ll keep you posted, or if you spot any yourselves, let us know!

We like the new layout, what do you think?  Would love to hear your comments.
