#HowManyBurgersCanReneEat?
The plenteous hazy days and bounteous balmy nights of summer are typically associated with exotic climes. However it was not the Mediterranean that the Tuminds team jetted off to last week, but the Costa Del Cromarty Firth – or Ardross Castle to be precise.
The idyllic location hosted the Inverness Chamber of Commerce’s summer barbeque on Thursday 24 July – arguably the hottest day of the year so far. The event proved the perfect opportunity to soak up the summer sun, whilst networking with colleagues from all over the region and enjoying the finest seasonal cuisine.
As soon as the menu landed in our inboxes it rapidly fuelled the team’s anticipation for the event. Our growing excitement (and appetites) resulted in a variety of social media posts, including the ambitious hashtag ‘#HowManyBurgersCanReneEat?’ – which reached 223 people alone! Not only did social media prove useful in generating buzz before the event, but it was an effective tool for connecting with others in attendance afterwards.
This is the new era of networking. Social media has added a new dimension to events, making it far easier to keep in touch with those met there and share mutual experiences. Can we help you to learn more about the power of social media and how to use it more effectively? The Tuminds team would be delighted to help you. Please contact us at:
