Since moving to Inverness two years ago, I have spent most of my time working with the Tuminds team, and it saddens, yet excites me to share the news that I will shortly be leaving Tuminds and Inverness to move closer to the central belt, where a new opportunity awaits me.

My journey at Tuminds has been a great learning curve.  Since starting at the beginning of last year, my role has changed and evolved a lot.  I have met some incredible people and worked with inspiring businesses, and gained so much insight about the world of social media for business.  I also gained a good 6 pounds from all the cake!

When I first joined, I spent most of my time creating online content and managing social media for clients. As market demand grew, Tuminds expanded.  That’s when I got more involved with Tuminds’ growth plans: adding new services, welcoming new team members, planning for a new website, re-branding and moving offices. This was one of the most exciting phases for me.

With Tuminds’ expansion, my role progressed to managing the private accounts.  As an account manager, I was responsible for managing the sales pipeline and being a part of the whole customer journey.  This included client initiation meetings, proposal writing and product delivery.  I am in daily contact with clients, building and maintaining a close relationship with them to ensure that the products we offer fulfil their needs.  This experience has been a great career opportunity that amplified my passion for social media and all things digital.

Working in a small team means you get to wear a lot of hats, with new tasks and opportunities very likely to land on your desk!  Some of those included:

  • Blogging and other website content creation
  • Social media management
  • Product and service development
  • Internal processes development

As my departure onto pastures new coincides with continuing growth for Tuminds, new opportunities have arisen for new and passionate people to join the Tuminds team.

So if you have a passion for social media, with some marketing background, understanding the importance of being customer-orientated, have lots of initiative, a flexible can do attitude, and are able to work both on your own and as a valued team member, have good communication, writing and (of course) baking skills, then email us with your CV and a covering letter to [email protected].

The Tuminds Team look forward to hear from you!
